1. What is Luxe Lend?

Luxe Lend is a premier fashion rental platform that offers a curated selection of designer dresses and accessories for rent.

2. How does Luxe Lend work?

Browse our collection, select your favourite items, choose your rental duration, and reserve them. Your chosen fashion pieces will be delivered to your doorstep.

3. What is the rental duration?

Rental durations typically range from 4 to 8 days, depending on your needs and the item you select.

4. Can I buy the items I rent?

Yes, you can! If you fall in love with a rented item, you have the option to purchase it when it goes live on the resale page.

5. What happens if the item I’m renting gets damaged or ruined during my rental period?

Accident can happen, and we understand that. It’s essential to notify us immediately if anything happens to the item while its in your care. Here’s how we handle damage:

Repairable damage: It the item is damaged but can be repaired, such as wine spills or a fabric split, you’ll be charged the necessary recovery fees.

Repairable with dry cleaning: If the item can be repaired with dry cleaning, you won’t be charged any additional fees.

Beyond repair: If the item is damaged beyond repair, you’ll be responsible for paying the full retail price of the item.

6. How do I return my rented items?

There are two options for returning your rental.

1. You can drop the rental back at the showroom if you live in Cape Town.
2. If your rental requires shipping, place the rented item into the return satchel and hand it over to the courier. We will email you a waybill that will need to be printed and placed with the parcel.

7. Do I need to clean the item(s) I've rented?

No need to worry about that! We take care of all the cleaning and dry cleaning for the items you borrow. We want to make your experience as convenient as possible. We partner with local small businesses to ensure each item is cleaned thoroughly after each rental. Your rented items will always be in pristine condition.


8. How do I contact customer support?

9. Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we do! Luxe Lend gift cards make for perfect presents. You can purchase them on our website.

10. How can I stay updated on new arrivals and promotions?

11. Is my personal information safe with Luxe Lend?

12. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards and secure online payment methods for your convenience.

13. How can I become a Luxe Lender?
Becoming a lender is easy! Go to the 'Become a #LuxeLender' page and fill in the form. Please ensure the pieces you want to lend are on our Designers List before submitting the form.

14. What are your business hours?

Our business hours are from Monday to Friday, by appointment only. You can conveniently book an appointment on our website at any time. If you need a weekend visit, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

15. Where is your showroom located?

Our showroom is nestled in sunny Sea Point, tucked between High Level and Ocean View. The exact address is kept private and shared only when an appointment is booked.

16. Do you ship outside of SA?

Currently, we offer shipping within South Africa and do not provide shipping to international destinations.
